Music and the Arts Concerts

Music and the Arts

A series of concerts presented each season as part of the Music Program at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church under the direction of Music Director, Gregory White.  Begun in 2009, these concert offerings have been well-received with enthusiasm by the Western New York community for presenting local, national, and international performing artists.  Artists and performing ensembles come to us across Western New York, the United States and Europe (Germany, Russia, Switzerland, and England).  Each season, Music and the Arts Concerts offer an array of programs representing a variety of artists, ensembles, musical genre that include classical, early music, contemporary, jazz, blues, vocal, instrumental, choral masterworks, and seasonal and ethnic favorites.  Artists have included: Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; Lyra (Russian Opera Singers); Gail Archer, Concert Organist; Advent Chorale of WNY, Western New York Chamber Orchestra and Soloists (Messiah); Sanctuary Choir and Soloists of OPPC; Vocalis; Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus; Fredonia College Choir; Fredonia Chamber Choir; SUNY Fredonia African Drumming Ensemble; Harmonic Brass of Munich; Freudig Singers; Buffalo Master Chorale; Peter Griggs, Classical Guitar; Svyati Duo (Cello and Organ); Camerata (Soprano, Cello, Oboe, Keyboard); Kindred (Celtic Music); Doug Yeomans, Guitarist; and others.  Music and the Arts Concerts are possible through generous audience donations which support artist honorariums.  Please consider joining us for these concert programs – be sure to review the schedule of concerts at the link below.  If you would like to receive email announcements of up-coming concerts, please contact the church office at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Music and the Arts Concerts, 4369 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY 14127, Telephone: 716.662.9348 or Email:
