  The Pastor Nominating Committee is on the journey of discerning OPPC’s next installed Pastor/Head of Staff.  In the meantime, Rev. Allyn Foster is our “Pastor in Residence '' who is present on Sunday mornings and is available to serve communion, baptize and sometimes preach.  Rev. Foster ensures excellent pastoral care with assistance from the Board of Deacons and other staff members.  OPPC has been blessed with pastors and guest preachers from our Presbytery who have served as pulpit supply.
The Rev Allyn Foster, Pastoral Assistant
Rev. Allyn Foster joined the staff as a part-time Pastoral Assistant in January 2001, after retiring as a pastor in the United Methodist Church. Allyn's primary responsibilities at OPPC include pastoral care, visitation and maintaining contact with all members, in particular those in nursing homes or confined to their homes.  Allyn is also involved in teaching adult courses, leading worship and occasional preaching.  He is the primary administrative contact to the Board of Deacons.
Linda Babcock, Director of Education and Mission

Linda has served on the OPPC staff since 1995. In her position, Linda has a two-fold role: She plans, implements and coordinates all educational programs for children, youth and young adults and serves as a link to staff for pastoral care.  In addition, she coordinates the Senior High work camp and Confirmation classes and serves as the Administrator of the Child Protection Policy and staff liaison to the Christian Education Ministry Team.  Linda works with the Mission Ministry Team as staff liaison to foster the creation of new mission projects and opportunities to serve the community and keeps current ones in the forefront of the congregation. Pivoting from program to purpose during the pandemic has been an exciting challenge for Linda in her 25th year at OPPC! 

  Debbie Babski, Office Manager
Debbie joined the staff in 2007 as Office Manager. She has a B.A. in Business Administration and has over 7 years' experience in Administration and Human Resources. Debbie has extensive accounting experience and serves as staff liaison to the Administration and Finance Ministry Team.
Sherry Pomeroy, RN, PhD, Faith Community Nurse
We welcomed Sherry to our staff on June 1, 2015.  She comes with a vast background and experience in the nursing field. Your Faith Community Nurse provides holistic health services, utilizing spiritual care, while identifying the health needs of the congregation. She is available to provide crisis intervention to members; offer health education and promotional materials; supervise congreational volunteers in health-related activites and provide patient advocacy.  Sherry is the Staff Liaison to the Health Ministry Team.
Gregory White, Director of Music and Organist
Gregory White is Director of Music at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church and in that role he provides the leadership for the music ministry program. As Director of Music he serves as Director of the Sanctuary Choir and Organist for the church, and serves as staff liaison to the Worship Ministry Team. He works in collaboration with the staff of the church, music program assistants, and Music Ministry Team in planning for the services of the church, its choirs, concerts, and other program events and activities. A native of Western New York, Greg is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia; he has toured with his choirs to Europe; he performs regularly with several professional music ensembles and has performed as organist in Germany, England and France. He is harpsichordist with the Ars Nova Musician's Chamber Orchestra and is Conductor-Music Director of the 100-voice Advent Chorale of WNY; he is listed in Who's Who in America. During the day, he is Director of the Domestic Violence Program for Men/Caring Dad's Programs, Public Policy and leadership for Racial and Gender Justice work at Catholic Charities, Buffalo.  The Domestic Violence Programs are provided throughout the 8 counties of WNY and is the largest program of its kind in New York State. Greg joined the OPPC staff in January 2009.
Bonnie Arnold, Director of Handbells
Bonnie joined the staff in September 2013.  She brings with her years of experience in the music world, including being a member of the Sanctuary Choir.  Bonnie will be directing the Wilson Memorial Handbell Choir. We are thrilled to welcome Bonnie to the Music Ministry of OPPC.
  Aimee McCann, Executive Assistant
Aimee began working at OPPC in April of 1992. Aimee assists with various office activities, assisting the entire staff. She compiles the weekly bulletin for worship and maintains the church calendar, as well as the weekly flower calendar, and coordinating facility use.
Daniel Hay, Custodian
Dan began serving OPPC, beginning in January 2010. He is responsible for the maintenance of all buildings and grounds and for the security of the premises. He performs minor repairs, prepares rooms for the many groups, inside and outside OPPC, who use our facilities. Dan assists at weddings and memorial services.  In addition, Dan acts as Staff Liaison to the Property Ministry Team.  Dan is an active member of OPPC and sings in the Sanctuary Choir.
  Anna Radin, Grapevine Newsletter
Anna has joined the OPPC community in the role of the Grapevine coordinator and other website duties.
